Job summary

Angle House Edmonton is seeking an experienced Dental Nurse to support orthodontists across a range of procedures. The role offers full-time 40 hours per week, 8:30–17:30, with part-time options (minimum 32 hours/4 days) and even trainee pathway.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent (or close to finishing the course).
• GDC Registration.
• Interest in Orthodontics.
• Patient focus & enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available.
• Ensure the care and welfare of patients.
• Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed.
• Communicate with patients and provide support throughout their patient journey.
• Support the Practice Manager and the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients.
• Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate and according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers’ instructions.
• Liaise with Dental Nurses and reception to ensure smooth running of the practice, patient communications and transfer of records.
• Help make agreed business objectives happen, and monitor achievements.

Education

Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent (or close to finishing the course)

The Role - Dental Nurse at Angle House Edmonton

We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse, who wants to be a big part of the Angle House success story. Our orthodontists rely on Dental Nurses to assist with a range of dental procedures, while our patients appreciate the reliability and reassurance – they need to know they’re in safe hands.

This role is full-time, 40 hours a week, 8:30 to 17:30. We will consider part-time candidates (minimum 32 hours/4 days a week)

We will also consider a Trainee Dental Nurse for this role.

Requirements

Desirable

• 2+ years of nursing experience

• Experience in iTero/Trios scanning

• Radiography qualification

• Previous experience with orthodontics is desirable

• Team and Diary Management

• Previous experience using iComply, DoIt, SOE or Dentally is desirable
