Job summary

Angle House Edmonton is seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to work with our clinical team, supporting patient care and assisting with a range of procedures while developing the skills needed to qualify as a Dental Nurse.

You’ll gain valuable exposure to orthodontics, and may travel to other practice locations to broaden clinical experience. Training and development opportunities are provided in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Dental Nursing course or willing to enroll.
• Strong interest in starting a career in dentistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to travel to other locations if required for training (RoE completion).

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team with chairside assistance during dental procedures (within trainee scope).
• Maintain clean, safe, and sterile clinical environments in line with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Prepare and manage instruments, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records as directed.
• Support stock control and general practice organisation.
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
• Participate in training and development to successfully complete your qualification.

The Role - Trainee Dental Nurse at Angle House Edmonton

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse who wants to be part of the Angle House Edmonton success story. You’ll work closely with our clinical team, supporting patient care and assisting with a range of procedures while developing the skills and knowledge required to qualify as a Dental Nurse. Our team will guide you throughout your training, ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

As we are a specialist orthodontic practice, you will gain valuable exposure to orthodontics. To complete your Record of Experience (RoE), you may also be required to travel to other practice locations to gain a broader range of clinical experience.
