Job summary

Build Recruitment are seeking a Trainee Contracts Supervisor to support an experienced Contracts Manager with void and planned works in social housing maintenance. This is a great progression opportunity for someone with trade experience or a background in social housing repairs.

You'll gain hands-on experience in inspections, quality checks, contractor liaison and resident communication, while training towards a Contracts Supervisor role. Full training provided with a clear progression route.

Qualifications

• Trade background or social housing/repairs experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Willing to complete a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property surveys and inspections.
• Complete quality checks and snagging.
• Support works sign-off.
• Coordinate appointments with residents, contractors and surveyors.
• Take photographs and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with residents and contractors.
• Report any issues, defects or delays.
• Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day duties.
