Build Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Contracts Supervisor to support social housing maintenance in South Devon. This permanent, full-time role offers training and progression under an experienced Contracts Manager, focusing on void and planned works and resident liaison.

The ideal candidate has a trade background or experience in social housing repairs, holds a full UK driving licence, and demonstrates good communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Trade background or social housing/repairs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property surveys and inspections.
• Complete quality checks and snagging.
• Support works sign-off.
• Coordinate appointments with residents, contractors and surveyors.
• Take photographs and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with residents and contractors.
• Report any issues, defects or delays.
• Support the Contracts Manager with day-to-day duties.
