Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an exciting engineering company in the Biggin Hill area to recruit a trainee CNC machinist. The role is a full-time, Monday to Friday position offering in-house training and external development opportunities.

You will train in operating CNC turning and milling machines, read drawings, and use precision tools. The team emphasises a supportive environment helping you develop CNC skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or apprenticeship with some practical workshop/manufacturing experience.
• Keen to learn and develop CNC machining skills.
• Comfortable reading basic engineering drawings.
• Good team player with a positive attitude.

Fortis recruitment are working with a n exciting engineering company based in the Biggin Hill area to recruit a trainee CNC machinist. We are looking for candidates that have a relevant engineering / manufacturing qualification or apprenticeship with some practical workshop or manufacturing experience. This is a full time position and is Monday - Friday.

• Read engineering drawings and work to specified tolerances
• Use verniers, micrometers and other precision measuring equipment

The trainee CNC machinist will receive training and development (inhouse and external) whilst being mentored. You will work closely in a team who are there to support you and assist in your development.
