Job summary

Regal Precision Engineers Ltd is seeking a capable machinist programmer to support GibbsCAM-based 3-, 4- and 5-axis programming, including 3D modelling of components. You will ensure tooling, fixturing, and all drawings are ready for manufacture while coordinating with the machine shop to plan and route customer orders.

You will assist machinists, review customer requirements (materials and surface treatments) and communicate with suppliers and customers as required, while remaining flexible

Responsibilities

• GibbsCAM 3-,4- & 5-axis programming including 3D modelling of components.
• Ensure all tooling, fixturing, TD drawings and any other dependency is available to complete manufacture.
• Planning/routing customer orders to the machine shop on Progress Plus (Turning/Milling/Grinding/Thread Rolling etc.).
• Support machinists as required.
• Review customer requirements including material and condition plus surface treatment.
• Liaise with suppliers and customers as required.
