Aston Charles is representing a leading general insurer in the search for a Trainee Business Development Manager in Birmingham. The role sits within the Sales & Distribution team and offers a clear path from trainee to senior BDM, with exposure to a wide range of commercial insurance products.

You will promote products to a broker panel across the UK, conducting discovery calls, identifying risks for underwriting, and guiding deals through to inception.

Responsibilities

• Promote the insurer's commercial insurance products to brokers across the UK.
• Conduct discovery calls to identify broker needs and relevant products.
• Identify risks for underwriting and guide sales through to inception of cover.
• Build strong relationships with brokers and meet sales targets.
• Attend face-to-face broker visits as required.
