Job summary

Arriva Group in the UK is offering a Trainee Bus Driver role at the Wrexham depot. You will start with paid training to obtain your PCV licence and CPC certification, with pay rates from £13.45 to £19.13 per hour during and after training.

The position includes shift-work across a 5-out-of-7 pattern, with early morning start times and opportunities for progression into management or specialist driving roles. Benefits include free staff travel and career development through Arriva Training School.

Qualifications

• Be over 18 years old with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to bus passengers.
• Assist and support passengers and ensure safety on board.
• Complete PCV training and obtain licence through Arriva Training School.
• Flexible and rotating shifts planned 6–8 weeks in advance.
