Job summary

Arriva in Chester is offering a Trainee Bus Driver role at our Chester depot. You will join a supportive training program to earn your PCV licence and start driving, with full CPC training provided. You'll work in a team, provide excellent customer service, and follow rotating shifts.

Trainee pay starts at £13.45 per hour and rises to £19.13 after training milestones, with progression opportunities. We welcome applicants aged 18+, with a valid UK licence (no more than 6 points).

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test and demonstrate good customer service.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable bus services to customers.
• Engage with passengers and ensure high levels of service quality.
• Participate in Arriva Training School to obtain PCV licence.
• Work rotating shifts as part of a team.
