Job summary

Arriva Group in Luton is recruiting for a Trainee Bus Driver. You will begin by training to obtain your PCV licence at our Luton depot and then drive on busy local routes, helping commuters, shoppers and school runs.

The role includes paid training, progressive pay, and development opportunities within a community-focused transport network. Hours cover a 5 out of 7 rotating pattern with early starts from 04:00 and shifts throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Great people and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses and serve customers on routes.
• Build relationships with regular customers and be the highlight of their day.
• Ensure safety and comfort on journeys and keep to schedules.
