Job summary

Arriva Bangor depot is recruiting for a Trainee Bus Driver. You’ll receive full CPC training and PCV licence support through our Arriva Training School, with paid trainee rates to start and a path to progression.

The role includes rotating shifts and the chance to join a large community-focused transport network. Earn £13.45 per hour as a trainee, rising after 12 months, with ongoing CPC training, career development opportunities, and free travel for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Be over 18 years old with at least 12 months of driving experience
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Pass a drug and alcohol test
• Great customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable bus services to passengers
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers as required
• Complete assigned shifts within rotating patterns planned 6–8 weeks in advance
