Bristol NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Trainee Biomedical Scientist to train in Haematology Automation, Coagulation, Haemoglobinopathy, and Blood Transfusion in a modern pathology laboratory with a supportive team.

The role provides HCPC registration training within Severn Pathology, accredited by UKAS/ISO:15189, and access to a robust development pathway with leadership and quality assurance experiences.

Qualifications

• IBMS accredited BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Commitment to HCPC registration via IBMS portfolio.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work across Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

Responsabilités

• Complete training to become registered with HCPC as Biomedical Scientist.
• Assist in routine and specialist diagnostic laboratory service in accordance with standards.
• Work on a rotational basis in key sections of the laboratory.
