Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills required to develop and maintain relationships within Blood Sciences teams.
• Requisite academic qualification for HCPC registration (IBMS accredited BSc. (Hons) in Biomedical Science or equivalent).
• Participation in continuing professional development and understanding of codes of practice.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Haematology and Blood Transfusion departments.
• Assist in routine and specialist diagnostic laboratory services following national standards.
• Complete a training course to become registered with HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist.
