Job summary

Calex UK is seeking a trainee trainer to join the Mazda Academy-based apprenticeship delivery team in Stewartby, Bedfordshire. The role focuses on developing and delivering Light Vehicle Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship content, aligned to Mazda technician accreditation pathways and High Voltage journeys.

You will undergo extensive teacher training, assessment and credentialing programmes while learning delivery techniques, workshop setup, and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Technician at Level 3 (EHV certification desirable).
• Recent manufacturer workshop experience (desirable).
• Full Driving Licence.
• Strong awareness of new technical innovation.
• Be competent in using MS software packages.

Responsibilities

• Learn to deliver courses and modules in line with Trainer Accreditation methodology.
• Assist in developing engaging training materials and lesson plans.
• Prepare academy environment and equipment for training sessions.
• Track and coach apprentices using the Learner Management System.
• Deliver quality induction sessions for new technical apprentices.
• Produce off-the-job training reports for employers and managers.
• Ensure training adheres to Health and Safety standards, safeguarding and Prevent.
