Overview
The Betfred Group has grown to become a leading global betting and gaming business. From our humble beginnings in Salford in the sixties, we have always differentiated ourselves by offering real value and a great customer experience, the same qualities that are at the heart of our business today.
Today, Betfred is a well-known brand on the high street with 1,340 shops across the UK, along with a significant online presence through online sports betting, casino, and games. We are one of the most active sponsors of sport in the UK, sponsoring a wide range of sports and tournaments under the famous red and blue banner. Our own TV channel, Betfred TV, streams live daily from our studios in Media City to our shops across the UK.
Our 1,340 shops are central to our business and play a key role in their local communities. As a retail colleague, you will ensure our shops provide a warm and welcoming environment for customers to place bets, watch live sports, and play gaming machines.
Your daily tasks include processing customer bets, ensuring responsible betting, assisting with inquiries, maintaining shop standards, and after training, deputising for the Shop Manager. A key part of your role will be promoting social responsibility by ensuring customers bet within their means and follow the 'Think 21' policy.
You must be 18 or over to work in our betting shops. While an interest in sports and betting is advantageous, no prior experience is necessary as we provide structured training to support your development. We also offer further training and career development opportunities, as we support internal progression.
If you are a great communicator, passionate about delivering excellent customer service, and enjoy building relationships with colleagues and customers, we want to hear from you.
In return, you will be rewarded, recognised, and valued!
Our benefits also include healthcare, mental health support, financial wellbeing tools, savings schemes, financial coaching, employee assistance programs, wellbeing resources, and eye care benefits.
