Success Recruit in Basildon, Essex, is recruiting a Trainee Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple projects under the guidance of the Project Director. The role focuses on learning all aspects of project management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, eager to develop a long-term career in construction project management, and comfortable with site travel

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in project management within construction
• Demonstrate strong communication skills
• IT skills including Microsoft SharePoint and/or CAD; AI is desirable
• Be willing to travel to various project sites across Essex, full driving license required

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of multiple projects including refurbishments, extensions and new builds
• Assist with project planning, coordination and execution
• Keep internal systems and project databases up to date with information
• Attend meetings with the board of directors and contribute to follow-up actions
• Support with risk assessments, contract administration and project scheduling
• Liaise with architects, M&E consultants, contractors and subcontractors
• Assist with project costings and budgets
• Source and arrange materials and suppliers as required

The successful Trainee Assistant Project Manager will work closely alongside the Project Director, supporting the coordination and delivery of a range of commercial and residential projects across Essex. • Supporting with sourcing & arranging materials and suppliers where required
