A prominent housing association is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join their Property Services team. In this role, you’ll work towards becoming competent in conducting refurbishment and management surveys along with asbestos inspections. You will be expected to produce survey reports, manage emergency situations, and develop your skills under the mentorship of qualified surveyors. This full-time position is pivotal for those aspiring to ensure safety and compliance in housing across the region.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join our Property Services team. In this role, you’ll work towards becoming competent in carrying out refurbishment, demolition and management surveys, as well as asbestos inspections across our property stock. You’ll produce asbestos reports for internal and external clients, attend urgent asbestos‑related situations, and work alongside a qualified Surveyor during your training, aiming to demonstrate competency within six months.
You’ll be part of a supportive team where your development is a priority. We’ll provide the training and mentoring you need to progress and gain the skills to become a qualified Asbestos Surveyor, helping us keep our homes safe and compliant.
This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week.
This is a mobile role based in the field in the Cornwall area – you should be based within a 30‑minute commute of this area.
