Job summary

Pacifica is hiring a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based in Bath with full training provided. You will be mentored to become a qualified engineer, visiting customers’ homes to diagnose and repair appliances. The package includes a company van, tools, and a structured training program, with 30 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or electrical experience
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Willing to train and develop skills

Responsibilities

• Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers
• Visiting customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
• Building on mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site
• Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software
• Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally
• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on‑the‑job experience
