Job Opportunity: Air Hygiene Engineer

The primary responsibility is to assist the Lead Engineer in delivering ventilation, ductwork cleaning, and other air hygiene services to our customers.

Full training and a personal development plan will be provided for the successful candidate.

No prior experience in the air hygiene sector is required, but it is advantageous. The role suits individuals seeking a hands-on position. It is physically demanding and may be ideal for those with backgrounds in facilities management, construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial cleaning.

Part of Marlowe Environmental Services, Hydro-X Air consists of dedicated teams working remotely in pairs to deliver air hygiene services.

Location: Field-based, with travel within the region expected.

Working Hours: 45 hours per week, including some days, nights, and weekends. Jobs are scheduled up to 3 weeks in advance where possible.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Cleaning kitchen extract and ventilation systems in accordance with TR19 Grease standards.
2. Working safely with oils, fluids, and lubricants.
3. Completing and issuing service sheets and documentation on time.
4. Supporting the Lead Engineer with fire damper inspections according to BS9999.
5. Assisting with the installation of access doors into ventilation systems as per DW144.
