Job Opportunity: Air Hygiene Engineer

The main responsibilities include assisting the Lead Engineer in delivering ventilation, ductwork cleaning, and other air hygiene services to our customers.

Full training and personal development plans will be provided. No prior experience in the air hygiene sector is required, but it is advantageous. The role is suitable for individuals seeking a hands-on position, potentially from backgrounds in facilities management, construction, mechanical engineering, or industrial cleaning.

Part of Marlowe Environmental Services, Hydro-X Air consists of dedicated teams working remotely in pairs to deliver services.

Location & Working Hours

Location: Field-based, with regional travel expected.

Hours: 45 hours/week, with some days, nights, and weekend work. Jobs are scheduled up to 3 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities

1. Cleaning kitchen extract and ventilation systems per TR19 Grease standards.
2. Working safely with oils, fluids, and lubricants.
3. Completing and issuing service documentation timely.
4. Supporting fire damper inspections per BS9999.
5. Assisting with installation of access doors in ventilation systems per DW144.
