Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trainee Advance Clinical Practitioner to join the Lung Cancer team at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough. The post focuses on new patient assessments and review of existing patients on SACT, with responsibilities across the hub-and-spoke oncology network.

The ACP will practice autonomously, monitor systemic treatment and coordinate referrals as needed, contributing to high-quality cancer care across sites within University

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare practitioner.
• Postgraduate training relevant to the role (L7).
• Willingness to complete MSc in advanced clinical practice and achieve full ACP MSc qualification.

Responsibilities

• See new patients and review existing patients within the lung cancer team.
• Support the assessment unit and inpatient ward for patients receiving systemic treatment.
• Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment within scope of practice.
