Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in SACT Lung Cancer (Band 7/8a). Based at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, you will train to provide autonomous oncology care, manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy and related pathways within the hub and spoke network.

The role is full time (37.5 hours) with a salary £49,387 - £64,750 per annum. Applicants may need to work across sites in University Hospitals Tees as required.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare practitioner required.
• MSc in advanced clinical practice or equivalent (L7) and post-graduate specialist training.
• Independent Non-medical prescriber or willing to undertake if permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for cancer patients.
• Monitor systemic anti-cancer therapy and manage treatment-related complications.
