Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Doncaster invites applications for a part-time Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (apprentice) to join the ACP Team in the Division of Urgent and Emergency Care. The trainee ACP will work within a defined scope of practice and to agreed clinical standards applied within a trust wide and local setting.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced nurse or allied health professional.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills.
• Flexible, adaptable to fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality clinical assessment and prescribing within scope.
• Order and interpret investigations and manage care decisions.
• Work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team led by a Consultant.
• Progress through MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and complete three-year apprenticeship.
