Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales) seeks a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. You will train under supervision to develop ACP expertise, delivering patient-centered care and education within agreed scope of practice.

On successful completion, you will transition to an 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner position. Welsh language is desirable, and we welcome English/Welsh speakers.

Qualifications

• Training to achieve a Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice.
• Under supervision to develop advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment.
• Welsh language is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess, examine, investigate and diagnose under supervision of a Consultant Mentor/supervisor.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, ward rounds and MDT meetings.
• Undertake Non-Medical Prescribing and provide medicines management advice as required.
• Ensure high standards of documentation and patient care in line with ACP governance.
