Job summary

TC Croydon, part of TC Group, is seeking a Trainee Accountant to learn how to prepare accounts and tax returns, support bookkeeping and communicate with clients and colleagues. You will receive training and supervision while building confidence to take ownership of tasks within your role.

You will work towards a recognised accounting qualification while gaining practical experience with a varied client base and exposure to advisory work across TC Group.

Qualifications

• Strong academics with GCSEs in English and Maths and good A Level results.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Willingness to take responsibility as you develop.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of accounts and financial statements.
• Support bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks with training.
• Help keep client work organised, accurate and moving forward.
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues about deadlines and progress.
• Support day-to-day office administration and team coordination.
• Develop technical, professional and commercial skills through study and on-the-job learning.
