Reed Practice is recruiting Trainee Accountants for a respected Cambridgeshire accountancy firm. You will assist with year-end accounts, VAT returns and self‑assessments while focusing on Making Tax Digital. The role involves charities and a range of client work, with strong Excel use and familiarity with Xero/Sage/IRIS/QuickBooks as a bonus.

Full study support for AAT and ACCA is available, plus free parking and competitive salary in a welcoming team environment near public transport routes.

Formación

• 1–2 years of accountancy experience in a local practice.
• AAT Level 3 or higher; progression from apprentice level welcomed.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills; familiarity with accounting software is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with year-end accounts, VAT returns and self‑assessment, focused on MT Digital (MTD).
• Work with a diverse client base including charities.
• Utilise Excel for a range of accounting tasks; familiarity with Xero, Sage, IRIS and QuickBooks is advantageous.
• Provide occasional administrative support and other office tasks.
• Collaborate across the team and take on junior-to-senior tasks as needed.
