Job summary

S&W in the UK is seeking motivated entrants to join our Accountancy Team as trainee professionals. You will handle year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud accounting support for clients, while studying ATT and ACCA qualifications.

From early on you’ll assume responsibility, with training from our professional services team, a dedicated buddy, and development through the Learning & Development program. No prior accounting experience is required.

Qualifications

• Be committed to progressing through ATT and ACCA qualifications.
• Predicted or obtained 112 UCAS points at A Level (or equivalent).
• GCSEs at grade 5 in English and Maths required.
• No prior experience in accountancy needed; right attitude matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist with statutory accounts, bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns.
• Support cloud accounting software implementation and health-checks for clients.
• Develop understanding of clients' businesses and provide solutions.
• Communicate clearly with managers and document work performed.
• Develop as a trusted business adviser while learning internal systems.
