Starting salary is £28,770 -£30,296 (grade 7) with the opportunity to progress to £36,648 - £38,223 (grade 10) - see employee specification attached for detail.

Have you finished at university or are AAT qualified and want to build a career in Accountancy? At Preston City Council we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to become a public finance professional and achieve a CIPFA accountancy qualification. We will support you with gaining this qualification by paying all of your fees whilst allowing for paid time away from the office to study.

As a Trainee Accountant you will be part of a dynamic team and work across a range of different areas including corporate financial accounting and management accounting.
