Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Train Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards on trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. You will contribute to the overall maintenance and appearance of trains, supporting a positive customer experience.

The role requires night shifts, strong communication, and a willingness to pass medical and safety checks; prior cleaning experience is advantageous, and you must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Pass a medical and drug/alcohol test before starting.
  • Complete Depot Track Safety (DTS) training.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train.
  • Inspect and report damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies to ensure materials are available for daily tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday - 9pm to 5am

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train

Additional information:
