Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting a Trailer Technician for a mixed mobile and workshop role in Nottingham. You will service, repair and inspect trailers, with responsibilities spanning breakdowns, roadside repairs and MOT readiness.

The position offers full-time, permanent employment with Monday-Friday plus Saturday morning on a rota basis, and an attractive salary of up to £40,404 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience with trailers and trailer servicing/repair.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Hands-on technician with practical approach.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain trailers.
• Repair and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose trailer faults and carry out repairs.
• Attend mobile trailer breakdowns and roadside repairs when needed.
• Inspect trailers and prepare for MOT/inspections.
• Complete repair records and paperwork.
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
• Support workshop team as required.
