Job summary

Consult2Recruit is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician for our Manchester workshop. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role starting at 6:00am, with a finish at 2:00pm or 4:00pm depending on rota.

You will service, inspect and repair trailers, diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension systems, and carry out welding and fabrication as required. A full UK driving licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience as Trailer Technician or similar.
• Knowledge of trailer braking, suspension and running gear.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Welding/fabrication experience is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, maintain and repair a range of trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension faults.
• Repair and replace trailer components.
• Carry out welding and fabrication work where required.
• Complete safety inspections and identify defects.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate workshop and repair records.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

The Role

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
