Job summary

Freight Personnel in the United Kingdom is seeking a Road Freight Exports Coordinator for its Wythenshawe branch. You will manage key customer accounts and oversee export operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficient deliveries.

The role requires a background in trailer freight exports, strong documentation and customs knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent communication with agents, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Trailer Freight exports background required.
• Experience with documentation, transport procedures, shipping schedules, tariffs and rates.
• Knowledge of customs import declaration procedures and regimes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support Export Team and handle day-to-day requirements for key accounts.
• Follow SOPs aligned with customer requirements.
• Assist with customs procedures and ensure correct procedures are followed.
• Liaise with agents and suppliers as necessary.
• Manage road freight operations from start to finish.
• Maintain good commercial awareness and accurate invoicing.
• Provide clear, effective communication with stakeholders.

Our client provides complete Supply Chain Solutions, specialising in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding and warehousing. They lead the industry with their innovative and customisable solutions.

They are now looking to recruit a Road Freight Exports Coordinator at their branch in Wythenshawe.

You will manage key customer accounts and export operations, delivering excellent service, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

• Proactively support all aspects of the Export Team by handling all aspecKey Accounts and the day to day requirements for clients
• Understand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures set out in line with customer requirements
• Customs Procedures - Assist the team in ensuring correct customs procedures are being used and followed
• Liaise with agents / suppliers as necessary
• Manage Road freight operations from start to finish
• Adopt good Commercial awareness
• Timely and accurate invoicing and administrative tasks
• Clear, effective communication

In order to apply for this role:

• You will have a Trailer Freight exports background and be looking for an opportunity with a forward-thinking freight forwarder
• Experience in documentation and procedures, transport procedures, shipping schedules, freight tariffs and rates, ability to raise and complete documentation
• Knowledge of customs import declaration procedures
• Knowledge of customs regimes and legislation
• Skills - tenacious, well organised, friendly, detail oriented, completer/finisher. outgoing and friendly, and commercially aware.
• Abilities - Strong administrative skills, works well under pressure. Able to prioritise work. Good communicator - both written and verbal. Good numeric skills.
