Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead roadside technology renewals and traffic signal projects. You’ll manage incident escalations, ensure SLA adherence, and forecast resource needs across sites with a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

The role requires experience in traffic signal systems, budget management, and strong leadership. Hybrid role with travel to Telent and customer sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of traffic signal systems and roadside technology renewals.
• Experience planning and preparing works with budgets/forecasts.
• People management experience and stakeholder liaison.
• CDM 2015 knowledge relevant to site works.
• Ability to meet targets and deliver projects on time.
• Strong client expectation management and negotiation skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident and service issue escalations with urgency.
• Maintain commercial understanding of client deliverables across services.
• Flag QEHS risks and implement safe working practices.
• Oversee service level management, SLAs and real-time investigations.
• Forecast resource loading and plan works with field teams.
• Identify risks and ensure controls are in place.
• Conduct health and safety inspections on-site.
• Liaise with client to ensure standards and corrective plans are followed.
