Job Opportunity: Traffic Signals Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Signals Engineer to work for a reputable, expanding organization based in the Bedfordshire area.

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Position Type: Hybrid (combination of on-site and remote work)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Programme, design, and implement ATS, UTMC, RTPI schemes in accordance with current professional standards.
2. Provide asset management expertise for all ITS assets, including systems like FMS, RMS, TMS, WebOS, SCOOT, RTPI, and others, applying a risk-based approach throughout the lifecycle of traffic signals.
3. Offer detailed technical advice and support, consulting with external bodies such as local authorities on all aspects of traffic signals.
4. Assess signalization schemes submitted by developers in relation to planning applications, providing expert technical advice.
