Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman for a busy construction site in Port Talbot. The role involves managing site access, directing traffic and ensuring safety on a £500 million project.

This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with a pay of £18 per hour, Monday to Friday, 6:30am-5:30pm, with weekend overtime and enhanced overtime rates. A valid CPCS/NPORS with CSCS is required, along with PPE and good communication.

Qualifications

• A valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall qualification with the CSCS logo.
• Previous Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman experience.
• Full PPE provided.
• Good communication and proactive safety approach.
• Reliable and safety-conscious on a busy site.

Responsibilities

• Manage deliveries and visitors arriving on site.
• Act as the first point of contact at the site entrance.
• Bank vehicles safely on and off site.
• Direct site traffic to designated areas.
• Maintain a safe working environment for vehicles and pedestrians.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman to join a busy construction site in Port Talbot. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman to work on a £500 million project. You will be the first point of contact on site, ensuring the safe movement of vehicles, managing site access and maintaining high health and safety standards.

What We Offer

• £18 per hour.
• A 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity.
• Monday-Friday working pattern, 6:30am-5:30pm.
• Weekend overtime available.
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate when working over 50 hours in the week.
• Saturday overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
• Sunday overtime paid at twice the hourly rate.
