Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a vigilant Traffic Marshall/Gateman for an ongoing project in Brighton, starting Monday 26th October 2026. The role requires managing site access, vehicle movements, and ensuring the safety of workers, drivers, and the public around the site perimeter.

Hours are 9 to 9.5 paid per day, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay options via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE. Start date and long-term ongoing work are confirmed.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Card or NPORS Card for Traffic Marshall (or Banksman) with CSCS logo.
• Valid CSCS Card is essential.
• Full PPE (high-vis jacket, trousers, steel toe-cap boots, hard hat, gloves).

Responsibilities

• Manage site entrance and logging deliveries and visitors.
• Guide construction vehicles and plant using standard hand signals.
• Keep public footpaths, highways, and site gates safe and hazard-free.
• Enforce site traffic management plans and safety protocols.
• Assist with light site duties and gatekeeping during quieter periods.
