Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking a Traffic Marshall Gateman for a busy construction site in the Preston PR1 area. The role starts Monday 12th October, with an on-site hourly rate of £16.00. You will direct vehicles, maintain access control and coordinate movement with drivers and site operatives.

Applicants must hold a CSCS card, CPCS/NPORS accreditation as Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman, have the right to work in the UK, and provide references. PPE will be supplied.

Qualifications

• CSCS card or equivalent required.
• Experience as Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• References available on request.
• PPE supplied and used on site.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicles and plant equipment safely around the site.
• Maintain site access control, logging in/out all vehicles and visitors.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are guided onto and off-site safely.
• Coordinate movement with site operatives and drivers.
• Monitor traffic flow to prevent congestion and accidents.
• Conduct basic security checks and prevent unauthorized access.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the gate and surrounding area clean and hazard-free.

• Direct vehicles and plant equipment safely around the site.
• Maintain site access control, logging in/out all vehicles and visitors.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are safely guided onto and off-site.
• Communicate with site operatives and delivery drivers to coordinate movement.
• Monitor and manage the flow of traffic to prevent congestion and accidents.
• Conduct basic security checks and ensure unauthorized access is prevented.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the gate and surrounding area clean and clear of hazards.

Hourly rate: £16.00ph

Must have:

• CSCS card
• Traffic Marshall or Vechicle Banksman CPCS/NPORS
• Right to Work
• Previous Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Banksman experience
