Job summary

MadiganGill in Perth, Scotland is seeking a Traffic Marshall for a two-month site assignment. You will record deliveries, manage the visitors log, and bank vehicles through the site entrance to keep traffic flowing safely.

Working on behalf of the principal contractor, you will follow Site Traffic Management plans, communicate with site operatives, monitor pedestrian routes, and assist with general labouring duties during quieter periods, including welfare cleaning.

Qualifications

• Valid Traffic Marshall ticket is required.
• CSCS card is essential.
• Strong communication and reliability are expected.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.

Responsibilities

• Record deliveries and monitor visitors log book.
• Bank vehicles through site entrance and follow traffic plans.
• Communicate with site operatives and monitor pedestrian routes.
• Assist with general site labouring duties when traffic is light.

Job description

Traffic Marshall Required in Perth, Scotland.

Our specialist Trades & Labour team are seeking a Traffic Marshal for a job in Perth, Scotland.

Working on behalf of the Principal contractor you will be responsible for:

• Recording deliveries and monitoring the visitors log book
• Banking vehicles through the site entrance
• Following Site Traffic Management plans
• Communicating effectively with site and plant operatives
• Monitoring pedestrian routes and safety zonesDuring quieter periods, you will be expected to help out with general site labouring duties, this will include some welfare cleaning.

There is 2 months work available for the successful candidate.

A Traffic Marshall must:

• Hold a valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket.
• Hold a valid CSCS Card
• Have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - Hard Hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves & goggles).
• Be hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative or as part of a team.
