Job summary

Morson Group in Kettering is seeking a reliable Traffic Marshall to manage vehicle and pedestrian movements within a busy food manufacturing site. The role starts imminently and runs for several months on an Umbrella PAYE contract.

You will apply your traffic control qualification, ensure site safety, and work as part of a small team to support daily operations while complying with site procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman certificate (NPORS, CPCS, or equivalent).
• Full PPE compliant with site requirements (high-visibility clothing, safety boots, hard hat).
• Umbrella PAYE contract only; CIS or UTR not accepted.

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Traffic Marshall to join a live environment food factory site in Kettering. The role will commence on 2nd November and is expected to last for approximately 42 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for general traffic management duties, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians within the site. Additional site-based tasks may also be required to support daily operations. This position requires working in a busy, active environment where safety and communication are paramount. Please note, the client will only accept Umbrella PAYE contractors and will not accept CIS or UTR numbers.

Skills:

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Banksman qualification
• Strong knowledge of traffic management and site safety procedures
• Ability to direct and control vehicle and pedestrian movements safely
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic site labouring skills for additional duties
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to follow site-specific instructions and protocols
• Competent in using hand signals and two-way radios (if required)
