Job summary

Randstad UK CPE team is recruiting a Traffic Marshall (Construction) for a residential project in Banbury. The role is on-site in Banbury (OX16) with pay £16.00–£17.00 per hour. Temporary assignment for 2 weeks, focusing on safe traffic management and site safety.

Requires NPORS or CPCS Card, prior Traffic Marshall experience, and a checkable work reference. You must be eligible to work in the UK and able to communicate clearly with drivers and operators on site.

Qualifications

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).
• Experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites.
• A recent, checkable work reference is essential.

Responsibilities

• Guide vehicles and heavy machinery along designated routes to maintain smooth traffic flow.
• Use hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate with drivers and operators.
• Monitor site for obstructions and unsafe conditions; take action to mitigate risks.
• Follow traffic management plans and protect pedestrians at crossings.
• Assist with site security and maintain records of traffic flow or incidents.
• Participate in toolbox talks and report hazards to site management.
