Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. You will work with direct and sub-contract labour, set up temporary traffic schemes, and ensure safe traffic flow around worksites.

Experience in traffic management and the ability to read CAD drawings are valued. Applicants must have Lantra qualifications, be able to pass drugs/alcohol checks, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
• Right to Work in UK
• Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required
• Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and
• Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
