Job summary

Gigaclear plc is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to support our fibre build teams in Witham. You will manage highway permits, traffic signals, road closures and signing, using CAD drawings to ensure compliant site set-ups.

The role requires an experienced TM operative with knowledge of NRSWA/Civils practices and the ability to work to predefined project schedules. A current manual driving licence and DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Traffic Management Operative required
• Fibre/telecoms build or repair experience desirable
• Strong knowledge of highways legislation and permit conditions
• Experience with CAD drawings and risk assessments
• Delivery to predefined project schedules essential
• Previous Civils field knowledge desirable (NRSWA)

Responsibilities

• Support Build teams, ensure highway permits, temporary traffic lights, road closures and signing are compliant
• Take CAD drawings and ensure regulations are followed for safe site setup
• On-site civil works and traffic management responsibilities at Witham area
• Maintain compliance with safety and onboarding drug/alcohol testing policies
