Job summary

BUKO Traffic & Safety is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join our Dorset team and contribute to our projects. You will set up and operate temporary signals, marshal traffic, and assist with lane closures on dual carriageways, with training provided as needed.

We offer guaranteed 45 hours per week, door-to-door pay, overtime opportunities, full PPE, pension, and support for industry qualifications such as Lantra.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• Live within one hour of the Depot location.
• Lantra 12D M1/2 – M5 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals and Pedestrian Signals.
• Carry out Stop and Go services and Traffic Marshall duties.
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways.
• Complete weekly paperwork such as timesheets and vehicle checks.
• Shift work and outdoor duties in all weather conditions.

Role Overview

We have highly competitive hourly rates, with market leading rates, especially for evening and weekend work. Our rates are straightforward, you are paid for every hour you work, enhanced rates come into effect with no minimum weekly hours required.

We are currently looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Dorset Team and contribute to the Company’s success.

Typical duties include:

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals
• Stop and Go services
• Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways
• Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc
• Shift work and working outside in all weathers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Live within one hour of the Depot location
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Holding a 12D M1/2 – M5Lantra Qualification.
