Job summary

BUKO Traffic & Safety is seeking a trained or experienced Traffic Management Operative to join our Devon team. You will operate and manage temporary traffic controls, including signals and lane closures, with duties across site setup, duties, and paperwork.

This permanent, full-time role offers competitive hourly rates and paid hours, with enhanced rates for evenings and weekends. Candidates must live within an hour of the depot and hold Streetworks or Lantra qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Live within one hour of the Depot location.
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• Holding Streetworks or a 12D M1/2 - M5 Lantra Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals.
• Stop and Go services.
• Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities.
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways.
• Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks.
• Shift work and working outside in all weathers.

Role Overview

We have highly competitive hourly rates, with market leading rates, especially for evening and weekend work. Our rates are straightforward, you are paid for every hour you work, enhanced rates come into effect with no minimum weekly hours required.

We're currently looking for a trained or experienced operative with a minimum of Streetworks or a Lantra qualification, and experience in the Traffic Management Industry, to join our Devon team.

Typical duties include:

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals
• Stop and Go services
• Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways
• Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc
• Shift work and working outside in all weathers.
