Job summary

BUKO Traffic & Safety, a trusted name in temporary traffic management, is seeking a dedicatedTraffic Marshall to join our permanent UK team. The role offers full-time hours with guaranteed 45 hours per week and competitive hourly rates.

You will work on site, manage signals, assist lane closures, and complete weekly paperwork in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates hold a UK manual licence with ≤6 points, reside within an hour of the depot, and can pass a Drug & Alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Live within one hour of the Depot location.
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.
• Holding a 12D M1/2 - M6 Lantra Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals.
• Stop and Go services.
• Traffic Marshall/Gate duty responsibilities.
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways.
• Complete weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc.
• Shift work and working outside in all weather.

Role Overview

We have highly competitive hourly rates, with market leading rates, especially for evening and weekend work. Our rates are straightforward, you are paid for every hour you work, enhanced rates come into effect with no minimum weekly hours required.

Typical duties include:

• Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals
• Stop and Go services
• Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities
• Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways
• Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc
• Shift work and working outside in all weather

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and individuals will be expected to perform different tasks as required by the overall business objectives as it continues to evolve and grow.
