Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Limited in Stoke is recruiting a Traffic Operative to join a practical, outdoors-focused team. You will visit sites, help set up traffic management schemes and handle ongoing traffic issues, ensuring equipment is delivered, installed and compliant with legal guidelines.

This permanent role offers full training, a competitive base pay, overtime, 45 hours per week, pension, holidays and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Reliable and self-motivated with commitment to Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to set up traffic management schemes and handle traffic issues.
• Deliver and install traffic management equipment at customer sites.
• Coach customers on correct and safe use of equipment.
• Check returned equipment and complete relevant documentation.
• Maintain traffic equipment and carry out repairs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the public.

Traffic Operative -Stoke

Do you enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on job as part of a team and take pride in delivering a great service? As a Traffic Operative it will be your job to visit sites and help set up traffic management schemes and deal with ongoing traffic issues.

• Delivery and installation of traffic management equipment to customer sites, in line with Sunbelt Rentals standards and legal guidelines
• Ensuring customers are coached on the correct use of equipment and can operate safely
• Checking all returned traffic management equipment and completing relevant supporting documentation
• Maintaining traffic equipment and carrying out repairs
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to follow instructions and procedures and complete documentation accurately, predominantly using an electronic device
• With a positive, friendly approach, you'll be able to communicate effectively with customers and the public.

Location: Stoke- You can live anywhere across the region - our depots cover large areas. Compliance with working time directive and domestic driving hours
