Job summary

• Proficiency in site surveys, inspections and data collection.
• Ability to produce technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in monitoring contractor performance and site activities.
• Degree or equivalent in a related field and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data from traffic, highway and site surveys.
• Design and develop traffic management and highway improvement schemes.
• Create engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Assist in parking controls, traffic regulations and highway projects.
• Develop complex traffic and highway schemes.
• Prepare cost estimates and financial forecasts for projects.
• Issue work orders and provide instruction to contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with specs.
• Inspect completed projects for quality and materials.
• Review invoices and payment claims with recommendations.
