Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join our Rainham team. The role is permanent and hourly pay ranges from £12.21 to £16.00. Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends is required, with a strong focus on health and safety.

You will oversee traffic management schemes, follow GTM rules, complete risk assessments, and ensure on-site operations meet legislation and company standards. Driving licence mandatory.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation (TTMBC, 12d M1-M2) required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• Lantra 12a/b accreditation is advantageous.
• Mechanical ability with traffic lights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all methods of traffic management; Give and take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working, Road closures, Lane closures and diversions.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements on works involving traffic management.
• Ensure that daily activities are carried out according to laid down procedures; identify and report improvements.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are carried out for safety and cleanliness.
• Promote a positive company image through attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying improvement opportunities.
• Assist the public, directing them through safe site lines when required.
• Ascertain when management intervention is required.
