Job summary

DRW is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer for the Cumberland team. You will work with trading, infrastructure and software development teams to provide robust production support and smooth deployment of technology.

You’ll engage with traders, counterparties and engineers to resolve issues, build automation, and improve system reliability in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. DRW offers opportunities across markets and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working in the financial industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
• Exposure to version control systems, particularly Git/Github.
• Scripting abilities in Python and Bash.
• Comfort with SQL, Linux, and command-line tools.
• Service-oriented mindset and ability to troubleshoot production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class production support and deployment processes.
• Maintain health and availability of trading ecosystem to minimize downtime.
• Respond to support requests from traders and software engineers.
• Coordinate with external trading partners to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure 24x7 continuity and consistency.
• Create documentation for procedures, troubleshooting, and system architecture.
