Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest seeks two permanent full-time enforcement officers for its Regulatory Services team. Responsibilities include investigating breaches of consumer law, advising colleagues on legislation, and monitoring compliance with trading standards regulations.

There is a mix of office work and site visits with occasional evenings and weekends. Candidates must have the appropriate professional qualifications in trading standards, and must already have UK work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Investigate suspected trading standards violations and consumer protection issues.

• Perform office work and site visits as part of investigations.
